End Date:
20 April 2012

Ghent University will organize a "Hands-on workshop on Biological Valuation as a Tool for Marine Spatial Planning" from April 16 - April 20, 2012. This is a joint activity organized by UGent, AZTI and VLIZ. This workshop is an expert group training which will highlight theoretical and practical aspects of the biological valuation method as a tool for marine spatial planning. You will learn to understand the concept and protocol for marine biological valuation. Training datasets will be available. If relevant, you will also learn to manage and analyse your own data, in order to produce marine biological valuation maps for your study area(s) by the end of the workshop.

The enrolment deadline is February 15, 2012.

As we can only work with a limited number of attendees in this hands-on workshop, early registration is desirable.

More extensive description of the workshop and the registrationform can be found on the sharepoint.
